As ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) continues to be integrated into mainstream mental health care, the need for a trauma-informed program that teaches its clinical application is imperative. Due to this growing and unmet need, Inner Path Wellness has developed the first trauma-informed certificate training program that not only provides the fundamental knowledge necessary to practice KAP ethically, but also focuses on its utilization with specific populations, in tandem with other therapeutic modalities.

Taught by experts in these areas, our course work covers the use of KAP with marginalized populations (BIPOC & LGBTQIA+) and those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders, as well as its integration with modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Creative & Expressive Modalities, such as Play and Art Therapy.

What Makes this Training Different?

  • We are the first trauma-informed KAP practitioner training.

  • We offer learn-at-your-own pace modular learning. The 3 modules of our certification program can be completed consecutively or over time. Practitioners who are unsure if they want to pursue the full certification can take module 1, which will provide an in depth overview of KAP.

  • The 3 Modules Include:
    Module 1 - Virtual Learning
    Module 2 - a 4-Day Experiential Immersive Retreat
Module 3 - 20 Hours of Case Consultation - exploring topics such as how to start using KAP in your practice, innovations in the application of KAP, case consultation, and more.

  • We will explore the integration of complimentary modalities with KAP such as IFS, Somatic Therapies, and Creative and Expressive Modalities.

  • We believe integration is where most of the shifts happen. Our program has a strong focus on methods to work with clients to integrate their dosing sessions.

  • Our training is a 6-month immersive experience that includes all the components we wish we had learned in other KAP and psychedelic-assisted therapy trainings!
