Ryan (He/Him/His) has been working in the field of behavioral health for the past 10 years. Inspired by research on the impact of relationships on brain development and mental health, he has studied and pursued advanced training in clinical modalities that build upon our innate capacity to heal. By combining body-based approaches with traditional psychotherapy, he hopes to support others in their journey back to wholeness.
Training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapies, and Motivational Interviewing has given Ryan the confidence he needs to help Folx struggling with a wide variety of mental health issues. He specializes in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, eating disorders, and internalized homophobia. He also prides himself on his ability to meet Folx where they are in terms of questioning their gender identity or sexual identity as well as those impacted by institutional racism. Ryan does his best to remain open and curious about the ever-changing social landscape and strives to continually be in the process of growth and change himself.
